Meet Johnny, our Quality Specialist at Chiesi Nordic, who started his position in June this year. Johnny has a master’s degree in pharmacy and he has previously worked both in pharmacies and in the pharmaceutical industry with Quality Assurance.
In the role as Quality Specialist, Johnny’s areas of responsibilities include among other things the management of product complaints from the Nordic markets, as well as training and assisting colleagues in different matters of quality assurance and ensuring our processes follow Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines.
What do you think is the most fun with your work?
The positive energy that surrounds everyone working in Chiesi Nordic. Many of us joined the company quite recently and we are in a similar situation where we get to use our expertise to help build up Chiesi Nordic from the bottom up. Since Chiesi Nordic only recently became a fully independent affiliate it has grown a lot in the last year and there is a lot of exciting challenges ahead!
Which qualities do you believe are the most important to be a part of Chiesi?
What I like about Chiesi is that diversity and inclusion are part of the core values, which also shows in Chiesi having a B-Corp certification! Everyone brings something valuable to the table. But if I must choose some qualities that are important to be a part of Chiesi I would say that having an open mind and being ready to try out new things comes in quite handy when working in a growing company. The ability to collaborate with others and knowing how to prioritize is also very useful.
How do you feel about your development opportunities at Chiesi?
Having only been in the company a short period of time at this point I do feel that there are a lot of opportunities for my personal development at Chiesi. The company is growing both internationally and locally here in the Nordics so there are constantly new challenges to take on and new things to learn.
